Rome's Spanish Steps reopening after restoration

The Spanish Steps in Rome will reopen Thursday after a year of restoration work. It's part of a push to restore the city's historic treasures that the government cannot afford to do. On Wednesday Rome's new mayor pulled the plug on hosting the 2024 Olympics, claiming it would add to billions of dollars of debt.
