Report: Justice Dept. to investigate universities' affirmative action policies
The New York Times obtained an internal memo from the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division that showed the department was seeking lawyers to investigate -- and possibly sue -- universities for improper discrimination as a result of affirmative action practices.
