Conyers: NSA surveillance has gotten "quite far out of hand"

Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., argued that government surveillance has gotten "out of hand," saying Congress never approved "the type of unchecked, sweeping surveillance of United States citizens employed by our government in the name of fighting the war on terrorism."
