Bigger mortgage settlements could be on horizon: N.Y. attorney general

JP Morgan Chase will pay $13 billion in a settlement with the U.S. Justice Department for its misdeeds in the financial meltdown. New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says the bank acknowledges it sold toxic loans its employees knew were at high risk for default and that federal prosecutors could decide to hold people criminally liable.
