Scientists successfully get coral to sexually reproduce in laboratory conditions
The world's coral is dying at an alarming rate, and the earth is on track to lose 90 percent of its coral by the 2050. Rebecca Albright, the curator of the California Academy of Sciences, and her team have successfully gotten coral to sexually reproduce in laboratory conditions. This is the second time this has ever been accomplished. Alright and her team hope to study these animals in order to better understand them - and hopefully save them.
