Bon Appétit magazine is revealing its 2018 Hot 10, their annual list of the country's best new restaurants. It's a distinction that changes the lives of restaurant owners. Joe and Katy Kindred learned that first hand when their eatery was named No. seven on the list back in 2015. Bon Appétit called Kindred a "casual southern restaurant that studied abroad." The Hot 10 helped the restaurant thrive and enabled the couple to open a second restaurant nearby.
