On April 9, 2013, a Florida man stole a truck containing a whopping $75,000 worth of this iconic American food, the Sun Sentinel reported.Maple Syrup
Quebec, Canada, was shaken by a massive theft of maple syrup - so valuable it is sometimes called "liquid gold" - from its reserve warehouse in 2012. Muenster Cheese
42,000 pounds of Muenster, or a lifetime's worth of grilled cheese sandwich filling, was stolen from a Wisconsin factory in March. State police apprehended a suspect in the cheesy caper while he was driving a refrigerated truck in New Jersey.
