Zac Efron is said to be "doing great" after reportedly completing a stay in rehab earlier this year.

People and E! News both reported Tuesday that the actor, 25, completed treatment about five months ago.

"He's healthy, happy and not drinking," a source told E!, which was first to report the news. "He's taking time to focus on working."

People quotes a source as saying Efron is "doing great," and adding, "He's taking care of himself and it shows."

Efron will appear next in "Parkland," a historical drama chronicling the events following President John F. Kennedy's assassination. The film is set to arrive in theaters on Oct. 4.
