We met 3-year-old Pearlina in Liberia as she watched her mother die in an ambulance.

Alone and shunned, the ambulance driver took her in. The ambulance is owned and staffed by the aid group, More Than Me.

After being quarantined, Pearlina has tested negative for Ebola twice and she was re-united with her grandmother in late October and also with her father.
