Word of the Day: Nefarious
Here's a word we don't see often.
nefarious(ni-FAIR-ee-uhs) adj. Extremely wicked or villainous; iniquitous.My mother used to make liver that was nefarious.
An important historical figure is also connected with that word: Iva Toguri D'Aquino, convicted for treason as Tokyo Rose. She died yesterday in Chicago at age 90. During the treason trial, the attorney general told the jury that D'Aquino had engaged in "nefarious propagandistic broadcasts."
