​Cops: Woman planned hit on father of her child

KEENE, N.H. -- Police say a New Hampshire woman tried to hire her ex-boyfriend to kill her child's father, reports the New Hampshire Union Leader.

Kerri Reason, 25, was arrested Monday after allegedly offering $5,000 for the hit. Police told the newspaper that the would-be hitman was cooperating with investigators, and was under surveillance while meeting with Reason on Monday.

Reason was estranged from the 27-year-old man she allegedly intended to have killed, police said. She has been charged with criminal solicitation/murder and her bail was set at $500,000.
