Weekend Music Round-Up: We don't need no band edition

(CBS News) The happiest of Fridays to you. Welcome to The Feed's Friday Music Round-Up. This week's filled with artists creating big sound using minimal instrumentation. We begin with the Rocketman himself, Elton John. He's released a new single called "Home Again" from his upcoming album "The Diving Board." The song is low-key, beautiful and centers around a piano piece being played only the way Elton can play it.

After all these years, Mr. John's still got it. Actually, he's got it so good, he doesn't even have to appear in his own video. Instead, he's decided to support his song with breath-taking visuals you have to see. So, hold me closer, tiny dancer, and watch/listen to the latest offering from a real music legend.

Pentatonix, the winners of season 3 of NBC's "The Sing-Off," are back with another mind-boggling, entirely a cappella song interpretation. This time, the quintet tackles Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us." How five people can combine just their voices in a way that makes you want to hit the dance floor is beyond me, but I do know that I like it.

Finally, London-based solo bassist and instrumentalist Zander Zon puts his insane skills on display with this cover of Adele's "Someone Like You." Is it sad that I listened to this with headphones, alone in my room at night and got all teary-eyed? I don't think so. It's moving. I'm still tough. You try it and see what happens -- I dare you.
