Universal Pictures, the studio
behind the “Fast & Furious” franchise, has released a touching tribute
video to late actor Paul Walker.
Set to “Coming
Home” by P. Diddy, featuring Skylar Grey, the video shows various scenes of the
40-year-old actor from five “Fast & Furious” films. It winds down with co-star Vin Diesel’s character making a toast before
an “In loving memory” message appears.
Universal Pictures has stopped
production on “Fast & Furious 7,” which had been slated for a July 2014
release. The studio announced Wednesday that the film will shut down "for a period of time so
we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise."
Walker died on Saturday of "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries" in a car accident, the Los Angeles County coroner said on Wednesday.
