Watch: Kids recreate key scenes in Oscar-nominated films
Think you've caught all of this year's best picture nominees? Think again, because you haven't seen the films quite like this.
BermanBraun's Cinefix and Mom.me recreated scenes from the 2014 best picture-nominated films with kids in lead roles. It's pretty hilarious -- and cute to boot.
And the children are dressed the part, too, sporting '70s-style wigs for "American Hustle" and great period costumes for "12 Years a Slave." The dialogue may not be exact, but that makes it all the better. "Give me your boat...Give me this boat!" says a kid taking on the role played by Barkhad Abdi in "Captain Phillips."
