Video shows 4-year-old's tearful reaction to Manning retirement

DENVER -- A 4-year-old boy broke into tears when he learned of Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning's retirement, and his mother caught it on camera, CBS Denver reports.

Dusty Harrington said her son Cy was getting upset by his brother's talk about Manning's retirement plans, so she said she look up some details. After she did, she began recording, according to the station, and later posted it on Facebook.

The child first drops to the floor from his car seat and crouches with his head in hands as he begins sobbing. The fit lasts nearly two minutes.

"Why mommy?" he asks, adding "why is he retiring?"

"Because he won the Superbowl and he's old enough to retire" his mother answers.

But that wasn't good enough.

"I really loved him," says Cy, collapsing again, mirroring the sadness every Broncos fan surely felt during Manning's recent touching retirement speech.
