VIDEO: Man robbed while filling out lottery ticket at 7-Eleven

PLANTATION, Fla. - A man who was filling out a lottery ticket at a convenience store in Plantation, Fla. was robbed in the process, reports CBS Miami.

Police say the victim was standing near the counter of a 7-Eleven store filling out the ticket on July 7 when another man approached him from behind, grabbed the victim's gold chain around his neck and pulled it off of him, according to the station.

The victim reportedly claims the gold chain necklace is worth $2,500.

Police say the male suspect ran out of the store with his accomplices.

No injuries were reported.

The crime was captured on surveillance cameras. Police are asking the public's help in identifying the men involved in the incident. Anyone with information is urged to call Plantation Police at 954-797-2100.
