Victoria's Secret "panty raid"; $10,000 worth stolen

ATLANTA - Atlanta police are searching for a woman who they believe stole almost 800 pairs of panties from a Victoria's Secret store, reports CBS Atlanta.

The missing underwear reportedly has a total value of about $10,000.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the woman is suspected of stealing 785 pairs of panties from the Victoria's Secret store at Lenox Square Mall on Saturday, Feb. 7. She allegedly put the undergarments into three shopping bags over a two-hour period and then left without paying.

According to detectives, the suspect is a black woman, who was wearing a red hat, a white and black shirt, and white tennis shoes.

Police have released surveillance camera photos of the woman, but no arrests have been made.
