Vengeful Alabama Man Drives SUV Through Gas Station Window (VIDEO)

PINSON, Ala. (CBS/AP) Thanks for the new drive-thru window!

That's probably not what the clerk of an Alabama service station is thinking after an angry customer rammed his truck through the shop's front window.

The driver, 49-year-old Roger Mayes, is charged with attempted murder.

Jefferson County Chief Deputy Randy Christian says Mayes pulled into a BP station on Alabama 75 a week ago Sunday morning and got into a dispute with the clerk because the pump was turned off.

Christian says the station has a pay-first policy.

Christian says Mayes went back to his Ford Explorer and drove through the plate glass window and into the counter.

Christian says police eventually subdued Mayes with a stun gun.

Mayes was treated by paramedics and then jailed for attempted murder and resisting arrest.

His bond was set at $63,000.
