(CBS/KCBS) - Police questioned "Saving Private Ryan" actor Tom Sizemore about missing Los Angeles woman Megan Wren, say authorities. Sizemore reportedly provided police with a "preliminary statement."

The missing 25-year-old, who was described Thursday by Sizemore's manager as his "friend," was last seen March 31 in the Westlake area of Los Angeles, police said.

Bill Wren, the missing girl's father, says his daughter struggled with a drug addiction and was recently hospitalized for a staph infection, reports CBS station KCBS.

According to TMZ, Megan Wren had been living with Sizemore for months, but Sizemore's manager Charles Lago says she wasn't his girlfriend.

"She's a girl he's known for a long, long time, but she's not Tom's girlfriend," Lago said. "She used to live in the same building...He tried to help her."

According to the woman's father, Wren had been living with the actor and working as his assistant.

Sizemore's statement "just indicated that he didn't know where she was," Bill Wren told reporters.

The actor has been arrested on drug related charges in the past and appeared on the VH1 series "Celebrity Rehab" with Dr. Drew Pinsky last year.

Wren is 5-feet-1-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She is white with a light complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.
