Tom Hardy: Embarrassing MySpace photos are "glorious"

Tom Hardy is one confident man.

After several embarrassing MySpace photos of the actor from eight years ago went viral, Hardy declared that he was not ashamed, especially of one that showed the once-potbellied actor in only tighty-whities.

"I've got no shame about my MySpace photos, especially the one of me in my underpants which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat," he told Sky. "I might not be an Adonis, but I like to think of myself as an Adonis in that photo."

Rumors have been swirling that the "Mad Max" actor may be the next 007, but Hardy was once not so suave as he appears today.

Hardy's old MySpace profile has been deleted, but the racy pictures are available here. The pictures feature a selfie-happy, duckfaced Hardy wearing trucker hats, underwear and not much else. Even his "About Me" section is embarrassing -- it is full of typos and boasts, and Hardy refers to himself as a "goldfish walking through a desert."

Just to be clear, Hardy is now 37, meaning the profile dates to when he was about 29 years old.

The actor makes no excuses, though. And why should he?

Hardy has made several high profile movies since his cringeworthy MySpace days, including "Inception" and "Dark Knight Rises" -- his work speaks for itself.
