Three more women accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assault

Three more women have come forward to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assault.

One of the accusers is a former Mrs. America, Lisa Christie. Christie served as an extra on "The Cosby Show" and also acted in Jell-O commercials with the disgraced comedian. She said Cosby assaulted her at a hotel in Chicago, where he offered her a drink -- Christie said in a press conference that the comedian said to her: "You're never going to make it in this business unless you sleep with me," reports the New York Daily News.

Another woman, Pamela Abeyta, said she believed Cosby put something in her drink when she met him in Las Vegas in 1979. She said she blacked out after a dinner show and woke up in Cosby's bed -- she does not recall leaving the show or going to Cosby's hotel room.

The third woman, Sharon Van Ert, said she met Cosby when she was working as a waitress at a jazz club in California and the two went to her car to wait for her to sober up before she drove. She said he then assaulted her, and when she woke up she was alone in the car.

"I knew I was drugged because I threw up and I never threw up or drank too much," she said. "I believe he must have put something in my drink while we were closing up the place."

Lawyer Gloria Allred said that though the women can no longer take legal action against Cosby because the statute of limitations had expired, they wanted to hold Cosby accountable for his actions.

Cosby has repeatedly denied accusations of sexual assault.
