If you're looking for a fun movie to go to this weekend with your kids, check out "Nancy Drew." I took four little girls to see it last weekend, ranging in ages from 6 to 10, and they all loved it, even though they deemed a few of the scenes a bit "scary."
Emma Roberts, niece of the famous Julia, plays the teenage super sleuth who tries to solve a decades old Hollywood mystery. There's a real feel of old Hollywood to the movie, but it also has a modern day sensibility. It deals with the very real theme of a girl who just can't quite fit in at her new high school.
The thing I liked about this Nancy Drew, is that not only is she really bright, but she also has a unique fashion sense and is truly motivated to help others. In the end, her confidence wins everyone over and, of course, she catches the bad guy.
Emma Roberts is absolutely adorable and I really enjoyed chatting with her on Thursday. Click on the box above check out my interview.
