The Feed's Friday Music Round-Up: Wedding edition (something old, new and blues)

(CBS News) I don't know about you, but I have been ready for the weekend to come since Wednesday. Just something about this week, can't put my finger on it. But it's almost here now, and before it starts, you get to finish the work week with our Friday Music Round-Up!

I'm calling this week the "wedding edition" because our first three items are something old, something new and something blues (yes, I know it's actually "blue"). First up is a case of the "old" made new with the return of a music legend: David Bowie! Check out his new music video for "Where Are We Now?" which holds our top spot this week.

While I'll admit the video is a tad bit trippy for my personal tastes, it is simply amazing to see this rock god back again on the music scene. We all absolutely love you here at The Feed, David!

And shifting gears in both tone and style, we have something "new" for you with this literally just-released music video of Ke$ha's song "C'Mon" above. Click play and get the party started.

And with two heavy hitters taking our top spots, I felt it's only fair to highlight a lesser-known talent next. And have I got the perfect one for you. A young musician named Jerome Landers played a cover of Ray Charles' legendary song "Hit The Road Jack" that was secretly captured on camera by his older sister. Go ahead and take a listen to our something "blues" with this caught-on-tape performance below that will blow you away.

You've probably noticed by now that I tend to share a lot of my life in my writing on The Feed. What can I say, I like the personal touch. So I may be a bit biased with our spotlight on the auditory and visual item this week since the selection takes place in my neighborhood of Brooklyn. But just in case, I ran it by a colleague who totally concurred that this video is amazing. So there. Check out this very creative and cool piece below by Supralude entitled "TNIW [That Night In Williamsburg]" with sound from Near Deaf Experience. It will rock your socks off.

Normally we end our Friday Music Round-Up with one item that is a bit different from the norm. But this week we decided to go crazy and double down on the viewing pleasure. I know, I know, we're pretty wild and crazy here at The Feed. Up first is a video that doesn't give much information, but makes up for a lack of who, what, where and when with pure passion. Watch this young boy rock out on the xylophone in the video below from YouTube user YMDMKT.

And the reason we decided to go with two selections in this category as opposed to one is because we called this "wedding edition". And while we've shown you all something "old", "new" and "blues" (once again, I know it's "blue"), we didn't show you anything involving a wedding. At least not in this post. Until now. Watch some wedding band musicians slip in a bit of Metallica hijinks into their set with our final video at the bottom from Marcel Yammouni and his band.

With that, I hope everyone enjoyed this week's Friday Music Round-Up and has an amazing upcoming weekend. Thanks to my colleague (and sounding board), Casey Glynn, for all of her help. And as always, keep coming back to The Feed for all of your viral (and music) video needs!
