Texas school counselor accused of "sexting" nude pics faces federal charges

(CBS/AP) SAN ANTONIO - A San Antonio elementary school counselor is accused of texting naked photos of herself to a 15-year-old boy.

Prosecutors say 43-year-old Cynthia Stewart faces a bond hearing Friday before a federal judge.

An affidavit says the boy, who is not a student in Stewart's school district, apparently became acquainted with her about two years ago through Facebook. His parents contacted authorities after recently noticing the teen was texting someone at odd hours.

Stewart is charged with receipt of child pornography and solicitation of a minor to engage in sexual conduct. She made an initial court appearance Tuesday.

Stewart, who works at Olympia Elementary School, has been put on paid administrative leave by the Judson Independent School District.
