19 arrested in Texas child porn stings
FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - A series of stings led to the arrests of 19 Texas men on child pornography and solicitation charges this spring, authorities said Tuesday.
CBS affiliate KHOU reports that the men were arrested in operations between April 11 and April 12, and between May 4 and May 6.
The suspects include a former reserve constable deputy, a man who worked at a children's clothing drop, and a volunteer firefighter.
Among the allegations, police say at least one suspect asked an undercover investigator to arrange for sex with a child, and others are accused of communicating online with investigators who they thought were children.
