Tenn. man pleads not guilty to raping Holly Bobo

DECATURVILLE, Tenn. - The brother of a man charged with kidnapping and killing a Tennessee woman has pleaded not guilty to raping her.

CBS affiliate WTVF reports 26-year-old John Dylan Adams entered the plea on Wednesday in a Decatur County court. His bond was set at $25,000 and his next court date was scheduled for Dec. 17.

Earlier this month, a grand jury indicted him on two counts of rape in the case of 20-year-old Holly Bobo. Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Adams admitted involvement in the rape of Bobo on April 13, 2011, the day she went missing from her family's home in Darden.

Adams' uncle told reporters outside the court that his nephew is mentally challenged and did not rape Bobo.

Adams is the brother of Zachary Adams, who has pleaded not guilty to murder and kidnapping charges in the case.

Bobo's partial remains were found last month in a wooded area in Decatur County.
