EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. (CBS/AP) Call it deadly love on the run.

Joanne Witt did not approve of the relationship between her 14-year-old daughter, Tylar, and 19-year-old boyfriend, Steven Colver.

Witt ended up dead.

Authorities had been looking for the pair since finding the body of the 47-year-old mother Monday in her upscale home in El Dorado Hills outside Sacramento.

The love birds went on the run after the murder and were arrested Wednesday. El Dorado County Sheriff's Department Capt. Craig Therkildsen said the two were located by San Bruno police at a Red Lobster restaurant about 15 miles south of San Francisco. Investigators identified Colver and Tylar Witt as the suspects early Tuesday morning. It is still unclear which of the suspects allegedly committed the murder, or if both participated.

Investigators believe 47-year-old Joanne Witt was stabbed with a kitchen knife and had been dead for several days before being discovered. Co-workers said Witt had failed to show up for work since last Thursday.

Police say that Tylar's relationship with the older teen led to the killing.

Chief Assistant District Attorney Bill Clark said the pair are being held on arrest warrants alleging murder, but no formal charges have been filed.

Clark was not aware if the two had retained attorneys.

El Dorado Hills is about 30 miles outside Sacramento and about 115 miles northeast of the San Francisco Bay area.

Sheriff's department spokesman Sgt. Jim Byers said police recovered a car on Tuesday they believe the teens abandoned in downtown San Francisco. They also searched a hotel room where they believe the couple stayed Friday night.
