Taking a Toll: Surveillance video said to show man stealing from toll machine along Atlantic City Expressway

(CBS) SICKLERVILLE, N.J. - Police in New Jersey are searching for a suspect who was caught on tape using bolt cutters to break into a toll collection machine along the Atlantic City Expressway, CBS Philly reports.

Surveillance footage shows a male approaching the toll collection machine at the off-ramp for the AC Expressway at Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville at about 1:30 a.m. on June 18. In the footage, the suspect is seen using a pair of bolt cutters to cut it open.

Cars pulled up to pay the toll several times during the alleged theft and each time the suspect reportedly hid behind the machine.

After obtaining an undetermined amount of coins, the suspect reportedly got up and walked away.

According to the station, the suspect is described as a stocky white male, possibly in his late teens to early 20s with short dark hair. He was wearing a camouflage shirt and baggy pants.
