Take in dream-like beauty of "Borrego Stardance"

(CBS News) Dreams can be a funny thing. They often take us to places that defy physical and visual limitations, and can allow for a deeper insight into our daily lives. Which segues perfectly into the video above that is much like watching something out of a dream. (But is totally real and within this world.) Take in this surreal beauty shown through time-lapse work above.

So did I call it or what? (And, yes, you are awake right now.) The mesmerizing Vimeo piece entitled "Borrego Stardance" was submitted to us by Sunchaser Pictureswho have been featured here previously for other visually stunning works, and who write about their latest:

After the surprise success of DEATH VALLEY DREAMLAPSE 1 and 2, our next adventure takes us to the desert town of Borrego Springs, California -- a remarkable hidden gem surrounded by the 600,000 acre Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Just three hours south of Los Angeles, this unspoiled landscape shines not only for its natural wonders, but for the absolutely amazing, enormous metal sculptures left behind by local business leader Dennis Avery. Dragons, Dinosaurs, Giant Scorpions, Wooly Mammoths, and much more! All created by incredible steel sculptor ricardoabreceda.com/. ALSO, since Borrego Springs (pop 3500) takes significant steps to protect their pristine night sky, they are 1 of only 4 communities in the WORLD to be certified as an official "Dark Sky Community" by the International Dark Sky Association.

In case you're curious, both works mentioned have been highlighted here, and this latest phenomenally creative piece has just earned them a big triple-rainbow salute of dream-like wonder from all of us here at The Feed!
