St. Louis Shooting Update: Four adults killed in murder-suicide inside business, police say

(CBS) ST. LOUIS - Four people were shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide inside a Cherokee Street building in St. Louis, Mo. Thursday afternoon, CBS St. Louis reports.

According to the station, police confirmed two adult males and two adult females were shot to death. It is not clear which of the four was the alleged shooter.

St. Louis Police Capt. Michael Sack said in a press conference that the three victims were employees of a health care business. The shooter reportedly appeared to have gotten into an argument with them prior to opening fire.

On Thursday evening, the Metropolitan Police Department of St. Louis has released in a statement the identifyingthe four who were killed. The victims have been listed as Khadra Muse, 44; Seaeed Abdulla, 29; and Bernice Solomon-Redd, 54. The suspect has been identified as Ahmed Dirir, 59.

The shooting reportedly took place at the Cherokee Place Business Incubator at 2715 Cherokee Street at around 1:40 pm. Thursday. The building houses many individual businesses, according to the station.
