Snooki's Mug Shot Photo Released

NEW YORK (CBS) Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi looks as if she might have been doing a bit of crying after she was arrested on Friday in Seaside Heights, N.J.

The "Jersey Shore" cast member's booking photo was released Monday, and it shows the reality TV star with smeared mascara and tousled hair.

Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd said that Polizzi was arrested at around 3:25 p.m. on Friday and charged with disorderly conduct after other beachgoers reported she was bothering them.

She was processed at police headquarters and released on a summons.

A police source told People magazine that the reality star was seen intoxicated in public.

"She didn't hurt anyone or get in a fight," the source said. "She just needs to be in a drunk tank for two hours."

According to the report, the cameras for "Jersey Shore" were rolling when she was arrested. The show is currently filming its third season.
