(CBS/KYW) PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are looking for a man they say entered a home, abducted a sleeping 9-year-old girl and then raped her in a driveway several blocks away.

According to CBS Philly, the suspect entered the home naked early Wednesday morning but wore a mask covering his face. Investigators say he entered through the front door, which appeared to have been unlocked.

He reportedly took his victim through back alleys for several blocks, and then apparently left her on the street following the vicious attack, which occured at 4:30 a.m. in the 4600 block of D street.

"By her account, at this point, he had picked up clothing that had been left on the first floor of the property, and had literally taken that clothing with him to the point where they had immediately entered an alley, and he dressed himself there," said Police Cpt. John Darby, CBS Philly reports.

Two siblings sleeping in the same room as the victim were reportedly not harmed.

The station said the victim made her way home 90 minutes later and was rushed to the hospital where it was determined she had been raped.

Police describe the suspect as a thin black male, nearly 6 feet tall, wearing gray sweatpants and a black t-shirt.
