NEW YORK (CBS) Vivid Entertainment, the world's leading adult film company, has offered Russian spy Anna Chapman a movie deal.

"Anna was obviously the hottest spy we've seen in years and she was clearly the media's favorite," Vivid's founder Steven Hirsch said in a letter to Chapman's lawyer. "Though she wasn't very successful as a spy, we think she can be a terrific actress in one of our upcoming feature films."

Officials say the 28-year-old was a savvy Russian secret agent who worked with a network of other operatives before an undercover FBI agent lured her into an elaborate trap at a coffee shop in lower Manhattan.

Chapman, along with ten other suspects, plead guilty to a charge of procuring information for a foreign government and was deported back to Russia.

In the letter to Chapman's U.S. attorney, Robert M. Baum, Hirsch made it clear that he understands that she may not yet be in a position to negotiate business deals, but wanted her to know that Vivid is "ready and eager to talk terms with her."

Vivid says it has distributed pornographic videos starring celebrities such as Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian and, most recently, E! TV Network star Kendra Wilkinson.
