Report: Obama Taps FDA Head

The Associated Press is reporting that President Obama will name New York City Health Commissioner Margaret Hamburg to lead the Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA has repeatedly come under fire in recent months for issues such as the peanut-related salmonella outbreak and the need for food recalls, and Hamburg will seek to restore credibility to the agency.
