Did Texas police stop the "Back To The Future" car?
FORT WORTH -- The Fort Worth Police Department is having a little fun with "Back to the Future Day," according to CBS Dallas.
According to the station, the department tweeted out a news release Wednesday afternoon saying their freeway enforcement unit stopped a silver DeLorean driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone.
The release said, "The two occupants, Dr. Emmett Brown and Marty McFly, were given a verbal warning to drive more safely in the city of Fort Worth. Dr. Emmett Brown responded by saying, 'Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.'"
The Fort Worth PD was taking its own turn with the frenzy surrounding Oct. 21, 2015 -- the date where the time travelers arrive in the "Back to the Future" sequel released in 1989.
