Post Claims The Taliban Asked Pakistan's Govt For Support Against U.S.

Members of the Taliban in Pakistan "distributed pamphlets in Peshawer urging the Pakistani government, military and general public to support Taliban in its fight against the United States," according to a post on the English section of Al Hesbah that quoted unidentified sources.

The English-language posting seems to be a copy of a report about the pamphlet distribution, but there is no indication about the source of it. The report was posted by an active member of al Hesbah forum, but there were no comments by other forum members.

According to the post, the pamphlets include a pledge to fight with the notorious leader Baitullah Mehsud and a warning to the collation government "of serious consequences if military operations were launched against the Taliban anywhere in Pakistan."
