Police arrest burglars, not fiddler, on the roof

RACINE, Wis. - Two people have been arrested on the roof of a Wisconsin house they allegedly were trying to raid.

CBS affiliate WDJT reports Racine police responded to a burglary in progress at a home under construction early Monday morning. One person surrendered as police surrounded the house.

Police discovered two other people were hiding on the roof to avoid them. The Racine Fire Department helped get police up to the roof to arrest the two other suspects.

All three may face charges of burglary, criminal trespass and possession of burglary tools.
