Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers could face arrest after woman in locker room photo comes forward
Playboy model Dani Mathers’ troubles after an insensitive Snapchat post aren’t going away anytime soon.
Mathers caused a stir in July when she posted a photo of an unidentified naked woman in a gym locker room along with the caption, “If I can’t unsee this, you can’t either.”
She faced almost immediate criticism and backlash, and she quickly deleted the post and apologized for it, but she avoided any legal repercussions because police could not identify the woman at the time.
But now that all appears to be changing.
The alleged victim has come forward and spoken to the LAPD, according to TMZ. The site reports that the woman is in her 70s and is willing to testify against Mathers. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s office are reviewing the case.
“We hope the rumor is not true,” Tom Mesereau, an attorney for Mathers, told People. “Dani Mathers never tried to hurt anyone at any time and certainly never tried to break any law.”
