Playboy Enterprises Shutting Down Playgirl Mag; Online Only

Couple of days after Playboy Enterprises (NYSE: PLA) CEO Christie Hefner boasted about the company's "ability to grow its combined print and online audience", comes this news: it is shutting down the print edition of Playgirl magazine...The last print issue will be the Jan/Feb 2009 magazine, which comes out Nov. 18, reports Mediabistro. As is customary, the magazine will now go online-only, though no more details yet.
From Wikipedia: The magazine was founded in 1973 during the height of the feminist movement as a response to...men's magazines such as Playboy and Penthouse that featured similar photos of women.
