(CBS) In keeping with his love of music, Jimmy Fallon will host bands playing Pink Floyd songs each night of the week from Sept. 26-30 on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

Roger Waters, Pink Floyd's bassist and primary songwriter through its most commercially successful period, will stop by for an interview with Fallon and perform "In the Flesh" from "The Wall" with Foo Fighters. Drummer Nick Mason will stop by for an interview Monday.

Here's the schedule:

  • Monday: The Shins perform "Breathe" from "Dark Side of the Moon." Mason joins Fallon for a talk segment.
  • Tuesday: Roger Waters appears for an interview and will perform "In the Flesh" from "The Wall" with Foo Fighters.
  • Wednesday: MGMT performs "Lucifer Sam" from "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn," from Pink Floyd's 1967 debut album.
  • Thursday: Dierks Bentley performs "Wish You Were Here."
  • Friday: Pearl Jam performs "Mother" from "The Wall."

Pink Floyd's 14 studio albums have been remastered and will be released starting Sept. 27. In addition to the studio album remasters, there is a 16 DVD collection of the studio albums and expanded versions of "Dark Side of the Moon."

Pink Floyd last played in its classic lineup - Waters, Mason, David Gilmour on guitar and Richard Wright on keyboards - at Live 8 in 2005. Waters left the band after its 1983 album "The Final Cut."
