Pet Python Turns On Owner

It was a wild night for a Centerville, Ohio snake owner whose 8-foot python turned on her. More than a dozen medics and police responded to the woman's apartment and at first didn't know how to pry the snake loose.

The python, named Junior, bit her, then wrapped itself around her right arm and tightened his grip. The attack was a surprise to the woman, Brenda Furlow, who said this kind of thing had never happened before.

"It was pretty painful and scary at the same time", she told reporters.

Fifteen paramedics at the scene were finally allowed to cut off the snake's head to stop the attack. Furlow went to the hospital for treatment. Still, Furlow says:

"I'm gonna get me another one"
