Fans of the show can enter "The Ultimate Fan Weekend in Wilmington" contest for a chance to win one of eight walk-on roles and partake in a weekend with the cast on location in Wilmington, N.C.
"Every year we identify a major partner that, like our show and CW, appeals to the same young demographic that we have in common," the show's executive producer Joe Davola said in a statement.
As part of the package, the lucky winners will observe the production process, glam up and attend a charity event and will appear in an episode.
In order to be eligible for the contest, "One Tree Hill" fans must attend a regional casting call at seven Macy's stores nationwide, or by uploading an audition video at www.cwtv.com/macys. Full rules for this event are also posted at the site.
Even if a fan is not chosen for the "Ultimate Fan Weekend in Wilmington," he or she can catch their favorite actors up close at an autograph signing at selected Macy's locations on Saturday, January 19 from 2-4 p.m. (local time).
This won't the first time that fans are able to interact with the cast off screen; in the past there was a "One Tree Hill Concert Tour" in 2005 and a "Road Trip to Honey Grove, Texas" in 2007.
Viewers can tune into the season five premiere of "One Tree Hill" on Tuesday, Jan. 8 (8-10 p.m. ET).
