N.C. teen already behind bars for murder charged in second shooting death
PRINCEVILLE, N.C. -- Authorities in the coastal plain of North Carolina Friday charged a teen with murder, only two weeks after he was charged in a separate homicide, according to CBS affiliate WRAL.
The latest charge against Te'von Lamont Mabry, 18, involves the Oct. 20 shooting death of 29-year-old Tavon Dionte Clark.
Mabry was already in jail without bond after being charged Nov. 6 with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder in the shooting death of 15-year-old Lavontae Brown, a high school freshman.
Another man, Michael Antoine Lyons Jr., 19, was also charged in Brown's death. A second man has also been charged in Clark's fatal shooting, along with Mabry.
