Nic Cage's nightmare: Naked man with Fudgesicle

(CBS) Here's a Nicolas Cage story you probably haven't heard before.

When he was living in California's Orange County, he awoke one night to find a naked stranger wearing his leather jacket and eating a Fudgesicle at the foot of his bed.

According to Hollywood.com, Cage told the story Wednesday to reporters at the Toronto Film Festival, where he was promoting his movie "Trespass."

"I know it sounds funny, but it was horrifying," the Oscar-winning actor said .

Cage said he was able to talk the man, who appeared have mental problems, out of the house and he did not press charges.

In the movie he was promoting in Toronto, Cage plays a man whose family is held hostage by a team of thieves who break into their luxurious mansion. Nicole Kidman co-stars.

Joel Schumacher is director of the movie, which hits theaters in October.
