Fans at last month's WonderCon were treated to a new trailer for Guillermo del Toro's "Pacific Rim." Now, we can all see it.

"This was originally intended for only WonderCon, but after listening to so many of you asking for more of the movie online, I think it's time for me to show you more footage," Del Toro wrote in a note accompanying the trailer. "Enjoy, my friends!"

The film, starring Chris Pine, Idris Elba and Charlie Day, involves an alien attack on Earth, and mankind fighting back in human-piloted robots. And the home team is fighting to win.

"Today we face the monsters at our door ... we are canceling the apocalypse," Elba says in the trailer.

"Pacific Rim" arrives in theaters on July 12.
