New Group Joins Reform And Jihad Front

An Iraqi militant group called the Army of Jihad announced it was joining the Reform and Jihad Front, an umbrella insurgent group led by the Islamic Army in Iraq, in an internet statement posted on yesterday. To mark this event, the group released a short clip depicting an IED attack on a U.S. Humvee in al Ameriyah area in Baghdad.

The Reform and Jihad front recently suffered heavy blows with three of its major groups, namely the Army of al Mujahideen, the Army of al Furqan and the Army of al Fateheen withdrawing from the Front.
