New "Gone Girl" trailer, posters lay out the clues

There's a new trailer out for David Fincher's "Gone Girl," and it lays out much more of the story than the first one did.

This one explores the evidence against Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck), who becomes the prime suspect after his wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), mysteriously disappears on their fifth wedding anniversary.

Nick faces scrutiny from the police, the media and even his lawyer (played by Tyler Perry), who warns in the trailer, "Whatever they found, I think it's safe to assume that it's very bad."

Some of what they found can be seen in a quartet of new posters for the film, styled as items stored in evidence bags.

"Gone Girl," directed by Fincher and also starring Neil Patrick Harris and Casey Wilson, opens in theaters on Oct. 3. Watch the trailer below:
