New Baghdad Sniper Video Released

The Iraqi insurgent group Al Naqshabandiyah Army released a 28-minute compilation video showing a large number of sniper attacks targeting U.S. troops in Iraq. The video, the 27th to be released by the group since its creation, carried the name "Baghdad Sniper."

The video also featured a statement by a military commander who said that the group is expected to release videos of some exceptional operations carried recently against U.S. forces without giving more details.

Al Naqshabandiyah Army is an Iraqi insurgency group made of former Saddam Army officers. In their statement of foundation, the group said it sought to restore the Islamic and Arab identity of Iraq. The group said it is willing to negotiate with U.S. forces through intermediaries.
