Nude suspect assaulted man after falling from bathroom ceiling

BOSTON -- A man now faces charges after he allegedly stripped naked, climbed into the ceiling of a woman's bathroom, fell onto the floor and assaulted an elderly man at Logan Airport on Saturday, police told CBS Boston.

Cameron Shenk, 26, had walked into a woman's bathroom, undressed and climbed into the drop ceiling, according to Massachusetts State Police. He then fell through the ceiling and suffered cuts to his head and body.

Officials also told the station that after the fall, Shenk allegedly assaulted and injured an 84-year-old man. The injuries the elderly man suffered were reportedly not life-threatening and was taken to a local hospital, according to police.

While arresting Shenk, an officer suffered minor injuries that police say needed medical attention, according to CBS Boston.

The suspect was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital to be treated for his injuries shortly afterwards. He now faces charges including attempted murder, assault and battery on a person over 60, and lewd and lascivious conduct.

According to The Associated Press, prosecutors told reporters on Monday that the suspect is still at Massachusetts General Hospital, and his arraignment time is uncertain.

It was unclear if Shenk had retained an attorney.
