"My wife is a cheater" spray painted on burning home

ARVADA, Colo. - A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after authorities found a home near Denver engulfed in flames early Tuesday with the phrase "My wife is a cheater" spray painted on the exterior, reports the Denver Post.

The man's identity has not been released. No one was injured in the blaze in Arvada, Colo., according to CBS Denver.

The Denver Post reports authorities were called to the home at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. Deputy Fire Marshall Deanna Harrington told the paper fire was coming from the front and back of the house and debris was found in the street.

She said the damage to the home is "very significant."

Jill McGranahan, a spokeswoman for the Arvada Police, said authorities plan to release more information on the arrest later Tuesday, reports the paper.

Photos from the scene show the phrase "My wife is a cheater" spray painted in black on the home's exterior in at least two locations. Officials eventually covered up the words with blue tarps.
